Join our team. We are building something great. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on Node.js to join our global engineering team. You will primarily build backend services and REST APIs in Node.js and TypeScript, and contribute to modern front-end work in React or Angular. You will work on scalable, cloud-native, event-driven web applications: developing frontends, designing secure high-performance REST APIs, and integrating services with PostgreSQL and messaging systems such as Kafka. You will use Docker to package services and participate in CI/CD workflows. Success in this role means delivering well-tested, reliable features end-to-end, improving API performance and security, and collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to ship measurable user value. Candidates with around 3 years of strong relevant experience are encouraged to apply; the role targets 3–5+ years of experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience building production web applications with Node.js and TypeScript. - Designed and implemented RESTful APIs in Node.js for production services; able to show API design, error handling, and basic performance tuning. - Built user-facing features or components using React or Angular in a production codebase. - Implemented JWT-based authentication and role- or scope-based authorization in backend services. - Experience containerizing applications with Docker and using containers in development and CI workflows. - Designed and optimized relational schemas and queries in PostgreSQL (or equivalent SQL databases) for production workloads. - Practical experience building or integrating with event-driven systems such as Kafka (or other message brokers) in production.
- Familiarity with Python for service-side tooling or scripts. - Experience deploying or operating services on AWS. - Prior work integrating or prototyping with large language models or LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, etc.). - Experience using AI developer tools (for example: Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development workflows.
